4th Annual Sarasota Pumpkin Festival , October 26-October 28: 12pm-10pm daily. The Annual Pumpkin Festival is set to take place at the Sarasota County Fairgrounds with over 100 free shows for the community to see benefiting All Children’s Hospital and The Lazarus Foundation Kid’s Force.Sarasota, FL.  There will be trapeze artists, horse and bear shows, pumpkin patch and maze, pie eating contests, family midway amusement area complete with rides, games, inflatable land and pony rides along with food and craft vendors and a beer garden. 23rd Annual Hyde Park Village Art Festival , October 27-October 28: More than 150 exhibitors will be displaying their artwork in the Village. This is a juried show, and that means each artist is hand-selected from hundreds of applications.  The Village is full of quint shops and eateries, and it’s a great place to take the family for a day of browsing.

Cracker Country Adult-Guided Tours, September 25-December 7: Adult Guided Tours are offered Tuesday-Friday starting at 1pm, 2pm, or 3pm September 25 – December 7 and March 12 – May 10. Admission is $7 per adult. Available for groups of 10 or more only.

Dinosaur World , October 1- October 31: Bring your dog to Dinosaur World any day in October and get $2 off per admission per dog. We’re pet friendly all the time!

Dinosaur World Fossil Day , October 12-October 14: Get special fossil prices at Dinosaur World in celebration of National Fossil Day on October 12 to 14th. Site is open daily from 9-5. Admission is $12.75 for adults, and $9.75 for children.

Dinosaur World Free Halloween, October 31: Children ages 3-12 in costume receive free admission to Dinosaur World on Halloween Day.

Fall Festival, Saturday, Oct 20 10:00am: St. James United Methodist Church , Tampa: Browse the works/products of various crafters/vendors with free food and beverages for everyone. There will also be cake walk activities every half hour, as well as carnival games and prizes, large screen video

Harbor Island Art Walk , last Sunday of every month.

Horse Power for Kids Fall Festival, Every Saturday and Sunday , 11am-5pm, in October: Admission (cash only) is $10 for kids and $8 for adults. Parking is $1, and the pumpkin patch is an additional fee. Festival admission includes Pony Rides, Hay Rides,Train Rides, Farm Animals, Face Painting, Bonfire, Games, Live Music, Hot Dog and Soda.

Odessa Rodeo and Festival , October 26- October 28: FESTIVAL: Friday, 3:00-11:30PM; Saturday, 10:00AM-11:30PM; Sunday, 10:00AM-9:30PM. RODEO: Friday and Saturday, 7:00PM; Sunday, 4:00PM. Admission to the festival is free. Admission to the rodeo is $18-$25, and parking is $3.00.

: Fall Harvest Season: Open weekends starting September 29th (check hours as they may need to be adjusted to meet the harvests. 2012 Fall Maze, Activities, and Pumpkin Patch: Open weekends Starting September 29th (weekends 10am-5pm) through November 4th. Sweetfields farm offers a corn maze, hay maze, goat walk, animals, hayrides, play area, tree house, free crafts, pumpkin patch, and more.The fall harvest U-pick has also begun!
